Eastwood head coach Julio Lopez explains what stood out in his teams performance and preparation going in to Thursday nights game at Franklin.

"Offensively, Mark Torrez threw for over 200 yards and 7 TDs (which I believe might be a school record), Richie Rodriguez had close to 100 yards receiving and another 3 TDs, and Manny Acosta, even though he only ran the ball 8 times, ran for 150 yards and a touchdown." said Lopez. "We put together a good gameplan, I like the attitude of the team this week, and I feel good going into Thursday, we just have to come out and execute from the very first snap to the last one. If we're able to win this game Thursday, I really feel we have the weapons to do something special in the playoffs, but obviously we have to put together a great game against Franklin to give ourselves that chance."

Eastwood will face Franklin High School Thursday, November 5th at Cougar stadium.
